MEET THE BAKER
Natalie Sugameli
Natalie was born and raised in Macomb, Michigan, just outside of Detroit. She discovered her love for baking alongside her grandmother, Rosemary, and went on to study Baking and Pastry Arts at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, graduating in 2014.
She began her career as a Pastry Chef at Local Kitchen and Bar in Michigan, followed by time in California before returning home to further explore the local culinary scene. In 2021, she moved to Delaware to join SoDel Concepts as a pastry sous chef and was promoted to Executive Pastry Chef in 2022.
Natalie is passionate about the creativity her work allows and especially enjoys seeing guests’ reactions to their first bite of dessert. She recently relocated to Sumter, South Carolina, to join Quixote Hospitality as Executive Pastry Chef and is excited to share her talents with the community.
